To Amahotep, I am currently a vegetarian and I’ve done raw foods for like 6 months before I had to go back to vegetarian and it made me feel so much better. I had more energy, lost weight, slept better and initially felt better. If you would like we can email or whatever if you want to talk about it. But it is a good lifestyle choice and it helps you spiritually to, you’ll be more in tune. I say go for it and see how you feel. I’ve been a vegetarian for 5 years already. I can tell you sometimes people need to transition so if you have to transition off the fish then I would eat things like nori, irish moss, basically sea vegetables because that’s what the fish that you eat are eating so you really don’t need to eat them to get what they’re giving you, you can just go to the source like they do. I love nori wraps, you can make a raw pate from nut and seeds and put some veggies in with that and you’ll have your iodine which the sea veggies provide for good thyroid function and it provides other vitamins and minerals as well. You can get some raw foods and things at a lot of websites and probably where you live too. A good website for helping you to go raw is http://www.alissacohen.com. She also has a raw food forum for people who have transitioned to the raw food diet. You can read some of their suggestions too.
