If I understood correctly with what you said Sis Carolyn. When so called conscious people look back to ancient times they aren’t really consulting with the dead but with dead concepts and I think that’s what you’re saying. I know one thing reading books and actually getting in touch with our ancestors are 2 totally different things. One calls for us to actually meditate and go into the metaphysical and spiritual worlds that our ancestors inhabit. They are with us and they are trying to teach us lessons through what they have already been through. They don’t want us to redo what they did, they want us to go to the future, to evolve. The other is what is called book sense, something you read out of a book and then just take it to heart. Some people just think oh because it comes from a reputable author that everyone listens to that it’s all right but a lot of times that’s not the case. When a person reads a book they should use the intuition as helper because a lot of times what’s true in that book is not what’s true. With me when I read a book I let my intuition tell me if what the person is saying at any stage is true and she never lets me down. I know if it’s true because not only do I get a mental “ting” but I feel her in my gut and it’s an actual feeling that I get in my body saying yep that’s true. A lot of these so called “conscious” people don’t realize that concept. With that said people need to seek their Higher self and Higher intelligence because even with well intentioned authors you’re not going to find the truth out of someone else’s mouth, you must find it in your own soul. That’s the bottom line. Quit looking to someone or something outside of yourself for answers. Like Prego it’s in there/yourself. We can have access to the Akashic Records if we want to know what happened and we can look at our future as well. We just have to be willing to do it. We need to take it higher, we need evolution instead of revolution because the root word of revolution is revolve and to revolve is to go in circles. We need to stop that, we need to evolve: go higher to our highest ambition. That’s why when people talk to me about revolution and all that I tell them no I don’t want no revolution we’ve had that for centuries it’s time for an evolution. They look at me like I’m crazy, but I know what I’m talking about. That just shows you were some people’s heads are at. Not on taking it higher but on making it go round and round like on a Tilt-A-Whirl until they throw up their disgust at the progress that’s not being made. That’s why so many of these revolutionist are frustrated, angry, and violent. Ok back on subject. I’m not saying that books aren’t helpful because they do get you to think and meditate but just be careful what you take in let your intuition be your guide, she’ll let you know. We need to trust her more she knows what she’s talking about. But it seems a lot of brothas are out of tune with their intuition so they keep her hushed and then they are left to a reprobate mind. They don’t know how to read her. When you lose touch with your feminine side then you are basically a robot with dumb downed feelings and you’re too logical to the point you’re like Data from Star Trek the Next Generation, a robot with nothing but intellectual intelligence, cold, non-feeling, half a human. Another point, maybe it is the will of the Most High that these so called conscious people keep doing what they’re doing to their own detriment because let’s face it ain’t everybody going to make it. It’s all a journey maybe one day their journey will bring them to the truth. That’s why it’s so important to work on self first instead of worrying about other’s ignorance. I feel u Carolyn on the comment u made about children. They are really higher intelligent beings, especially if their parents are on that frequencies. I don’t know why some adults feel the need to dumb down their children. They understand a lot more than what we give them credit for. That’s why when I have children I will talk to them like human beings. I know that some parents think that making funny noises and talking gibberish to them when they are infants is cute because they think they can’t understand but that’s not so. For example, one of my friends little boys was an infant and he was sitting in his car seat on the floor and he just started having a conversation with some being that only he could see. We couldn’t understand the language he was speaking but he was using hand gestures and everything carrying on this convo with this unseen force just chilling and me and his mother just sat there and watched him. I said Yo your child is talking to something over there like seriously. She just said yeah I know. Children have pure energy and they are more close to the spiritual world when they’re young. Just look at Sixth Sense. They can access that realm. That’s why I be paying attention to young children. You can learn a lot from them. Also, parents need to read to their children while in the womb and outside, that’s what my parents did to me. They can understand. It’s the parents that need to get on a higher frequency and stop being arrogant like they know everything because they don’t. Just co-signing with u Carolyn :). Black parents really need to pay attention to their children instead of cussing em out like they some niggas on the street and nurture their whole being. But when you have ignorant parents you kind of get sort changed as a child.

@Naj so true, so true. They have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof like it says in Bible. They deny the power of Orhemah. It’s like the saying “The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world.” But these so called conscious people just leave it at the hand that rocks the cradle. These egyptian christians as you so eloquently put it take their christian and islamic beliefs and try to incorporate it into “consciousness” when it really has no real place in consciousness. Even when they say that black woman is “equal” to them or whatever they don’t believe it. It’s an arrogant and pride issue. It’s like they’d rather die than admit that black woman is God or better yet that black woman is superior to them. Superior seems to be a bad word, I guess because it’s associated with white supremacy. But it needs to be realized that until we acknowledge the mother, cosmic and earthly we will continously be in a state of chaos. Recognizing and uplifting the black woman will be our evolution.
